Mission

The FFMMO Archive was founded with the goal of preserving the various aspects of the history of Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV.

Did you know that E3 2013 gave out time reservations cards for it’s FFXIV Ifrit Battle Challenge before having to give up because the line began to wrap around the booth? Or that one of the original concepts for PlayOnline was to allow people to listen to music and read manga?

With the FFMMO Archive, we hope to be able to more widely share that kind of knowledge, while also giving everyone a chance to look back at things like FFXIV 1.0 assets, Japan exclusive merchandise, and more!

Founder

FFMMO Archive was founded by Andrew Copeland, also known as “Fusionx” and “ROFLDRG.”

In 2006 he helped launch the popular Pet Food Alpha podcast for Final Fantasy XI. He also helped to create Gamer Escape as well as its podcast Aetheryte Radio which focuses on Final Fantasy XIV.

For years now I’ve wanted to have a place to list my growing collection of FFXI and FFXIV items. As time went on however, I realized it’s also important to try and preserve the many elements that have been a part of these games histories. Whether it be something like a themed hotel key card, or items that were only released to players in Japan, I want to be able to share these things with everyone who loves the Final Fantasy MMOs as much as I do.

I’m looking forward to geeking out with everyone about the wonderful trip down memory lane that this site could give us.
